Franks Pizza and Chicken | Our Story

Family-Owned in Pittsburgh Since 1992

Frank's Pizza & Chicken has been feeding Pittsburgh's North Hills for over thirty years — same family, same neighborhoods, same commitment to getting the food right.
How We Started

How We Started

Frank's opened in 1992 as a family-owned shop in Pittsburgh's North Hills — not a franchise, not a chain. Over thirty years later, we're still that same family, now with three locations across Millvale, Pittsburgh, and Glenshaw.
The Pizza That Defined Us

The Pizza That Defined Us

The buffalo chicken pizza put Frank's on the map, and our Pepperoni Big Frankie earned a top-ten finish in the 100.7 Star Pizza Contest. We make traditional, specialty, and square pies — but guests keep coming back for the buffalo chicken.
Broasted, Not Just Fried

Broasted, Not Just Fried

We use genuine Broaster Company equipment to make our chicken — crispy on the outside, tender-moist on the inside. The housemade ranch served alongside it became so popular that we started selling it by the bottle.
When Millvale Flooded

When Millvale Flooded

When Hurricane Ivan hit Millvale in September 2004, we stayed open and donated over $5,000 worth of food to relief workers and displaced residents. If you could make it to the shop, the food was free.

Frank's sponsors over fifty local organizations — youth sports leagues, volunteer fire departments, school districts, and more — because these are our communities, not just our customers.
